What's new for 2027
The Atlas Cross Sport is the two-row, five-seat member of the Atlas family — and for 2027 it's completely redesigned. Same roomy, tech-forward experience, wrapped in a lower, sleeker body.
A raked, coupe-like roofline sits about 2 inches lower and roughly 5 inches shorter than the three-row Atlas, with stacked LED headlights, an illuminated VW badge and a full-width taillight.
A revised 2.0L turbocharged engine makes 282 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque — up 13 hp — paired with an 8-speed automatic and available 4MOTION all-wheel drive.
An architectural "loop" dashboard with soft-touch materials, real wood, contrast stitching and ambient lighting. Standard leatherette, with available Varenna or Nappa leather.
Up to a 15-inch touchscreen and a 10.3-inch Digital Cockpit Pro, a new Driver Experience Dial, and myVW+ with an AI-powered voice assistant.
A revised 12-way power driver's seat with four-way lumbar, available front-seat massage, rear window sunshades and a power liftgate with Easy Open.
Park Assist Plus with front and rear Park Distance Control, Qi2 wireless charging for two phones, and five USB-C ports throughout the cabin.
