Service rep kattelyn was on point every step of the process. Very promt & customer oriented.

Customer Sevice has really declined especially the in the service department. Rude on the phone and don't treat customers who pay a lot of money for their services like customers. Minh has awful customer service skills

Waiting over 2 hours for a 10k EV checkup when I had an appointment and only 1 other customer waiting in the service department when I arrived and departed is ridiculous.

We are longtime VW owners (55 years and more); third car purchased from EG VW, three different owners--and we have been pleased with the cars and the care we have received. Luis did a great job--close contact and sup[ort, open to questions and concerns, and most important, gave us solid information or careful not to claim what wasn't answerable. His associate gave us faulty information on two points, worked to "sell us"; Luis served our needs, listened, and solved. An idea: folks like us come to electric cars with worries and misconceptions; offer an evening or weekend session for possible customers to come in, air out their issues, hear about this new world of electric, zero carbon vehicles, offer a test drive. We initiated this kind of exploration out of our own energies, and found that the transition to electric cars was less jolting than we expected. With a group of curious learners in the dealership, a trusting and confident mood can be developed, and more folks would decide to take the plunge. Happy owners could be included.

Diego my sales rep (Elk Grove, CA) was AMAZING. The process was easy & fast. I wish everyone could have a sales rep like Diego. I don't plan on buying another vehicle anytime soon but please believe I will refer all my friends and family who are in the market for a new vehicle to Elk Grove VW.

I had a wonderful experience buying a 2024 Atlas at Elk Grove VW. They have a great no pressure sales staff and were thorough in answering all my questions. The buying process was very quick without the usual pressure from the finance person to buy a ton of extras you don’t need or want. Will definitely buy my next vehicle here

Luis was extremely helpful during my ID4 purchase. It is what it is for what I got with my trade in with my former Fisker Ocean. That situation was completely out of my control. Really weird now that I have a car with all the advertised features working and having a second key fob 😂

The overall service was great. Minh who has helped me each time I've been there has always gone above and beyond in explaining the issues with my car, but also was transparent and communicative regarding any additional issues regarding my car.

they are NOT transparent about listed pricing on cars.com. I confirmed the price with them on call & email before driving 1.5 hour for the test drive and purchase. initially everything went fine with little back/forth on pricing, however, after waiting hour plus for the paperwork they tried to slip in some of their useless care packages into the last bill of sales without any mention at all. when I asked them about the Maxcare package just 5 mins before that document the salesperson (not Bobby) LIED to me that its already included in price. But guess what, when the final bill of sale came up it was a separate cost. I noticed immediately and pointed out. so now the tune changed, some xx like its not optional etc. when I resisted they wont budge so I cancelled the transaction and had them destroy the paperwork. Also they misrepresented the car's condition on cars.com. the car had a medium-large crack on windshield that they said will take a few days to fix hoping i'll purchase & delay delivery for when that gets fixed (btw they had this car in possession for about 2 months). the rep even tried to use the repair cost of crack as a price negotiating lineitem .. ha. Bottom line: if you are in SF Bay area and see good deal on this dealership. DONT fall for it, they know fully well what they are doing and hoping you will get frustrated enough to sign the dotted line after wasting hours driving and arguing.

Excellent service department and staff. My only "knock" is that the dealership/service department does not provide a shuttle service.
